Dr. Brooke C. Tesche, Superintendent for Secondary Schools and Schools of Special Education, Office of Catholic Education, has announced the 2022-23 Archdiocese of Philadelphia Winter Sports Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, which recognizes the high school student-athletes of the Archdiocese who earned first or second academic honors in the second quarter marking period while competing in basketball, wrestling, competitive spirit, swimming, bowling, bocce, and indoor track and field.
“This is a great opportunity to celebrate these individuals who exemplify the student-athlete experience. Our students set high goals for themselves in the classroom, in their hearts as missionary disciples, and in athletic competition. This Winter Sports season included five state championship teams and numerous individual achievements, which we are honored to commemorate” said Dr. Tesche. “It is my great honor to acknowledge these dynamic representatives of our 15 AOP High Schools.”
