Sister Frances Ann Hall SSJ, formerly Sister Francis Michael, age 79, died August 19, 2023, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Frank and Anne Hall, she attended Sacred Heart Grade school in Sweedsburg, PA and Bishop Kendrick High School.

In September 1962 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1970.

Sister Frances ministered in the Dioceses of Harrisburg and Philadelphia.

She is survived by her sisters Ceil Coyle and Mary French, niece, nephew, and members of her Congregation, The Sisters of Saint Joseph.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 22 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Villa. Services will also be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website, www.stjosephvilla.org.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister’s name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031.
