Faithful from throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia gathered Saturday, September 30 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown for the Archdiocesan Eucharistic Congress.

Archbishop Pérez served as the principal celebrant at the opening Mass. Bishop Michael Burbidge, the current Bishop of Arlington and a previously and Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, served as the homilist and keynote speaker. Mrs. Antonia Acutis, mother of Blessed Carlo Acutis, spoke about personal devotion to Christ in the Eucharist and her son’s compelling story.

This initiative is part of the three-year National Eucharistic Revival called for by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. For more information, please visit www.phillyeucharisticrevival.org(Photos: Sarah Webb)
