The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is hosting a common Universal Visitation Day for all of its high schools throughout the five-county region March 21.

Seventh grade students throughout the metropolitan area have the opportunity to explore one of the 16 high schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in depth.

This initiative provides prospective high school students with the opportunity to tour a campus, meet administrators, teachers, current students, and to take part in hands-on activities highlighting each school’s unique academic offerings and school spirit.

In addition to students from 116 parish, regional, and Independence Mission Schools this visitation is also open to current public, charter, cyber, and private school seventh grade students.


BUCKS COUNTY

Conwell-Egan Catholic High School 611 Wistar Road; Fairless Hills, PA 19030
7:30 a.m.-2:15 p.m.  Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (CEC) will welcome future Eagles during its 7th Grade Visitation Day. The students will explore CEC’s STEM program, attend an Art/Music Expo, pass through the Center for Student Leadership, and spend time in traditional classrooms with CEC teachers.

CHESTER COUNTY

Bishop Shanahan High School 220 Woodbine Road; Downingtown, PA 19335
9:00 a.m.-1:15 p.m.  Bishop Shanahan High School (BSHS) will welcome interested 7th Grade students to visit campus for the day and experience life as a Shanahan Eagle! Students will tour the campus, meet with BSHS students as well as club and activity leaders, and so much more!

DELAWARE COUNTY

Cardinal O’Hara High School 1701 S Sproul Road; Springfield, PA 19064
8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Cardinal O’Hara High School will welcome 7th Grade students to join them for a sneak peek at a day in the life of an O’Hara Lion! Students will experience O’Hara with fellow classmates and potential members of the Class of 2029 from throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The school has planned a day to give students an up close look at what they have to offer and why they should call O’Hara home during their high school years!

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

Pope John Paul II High School 181 Rittenhouse Road; Royersford, PA 19468
8:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.  Pope John Paul II High School (PJPII) will be open its doors to 7th Graders, allowing future Golden Panthers to step into the shoes of who they will become at PJPII. Students will be led through the school by PJPII student leaders and will follow a truncated class schedule taught by their future teachers. This will be a day of exploration, connection, and celebration for our future Golden Panthers!

PHILADELPHIA COUNTY – SOUTH 

Saints Neumann Goretti High School 1736 South 10th Street; Philadelphia, PA 19148
8:00 a.m.1:30 p.m. Saints Neumann Goretti High School (SNG) invites future members of the Class of 2029 to spend a day as an SNG Saint at 7th Grade Visitation Day! Students will attend special classes with SNG teachers, enjoy a presentation from the school’s orchestra, spend time learning about life as a Saint from the SNG Ambassadors, and experience plenty of Saints spirit!

PHILADELPHIA COUNTY – NORTH

Archbishop Ryan High School 11201 Academy Road; Philadelphia, PA 19154
8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Archbishop Ryan High School will welcome members of the Class of 2029 for 7th Grade Visitation Day!  Students will begin the day with prayer, followed by breakfast, and a welcome assembly. They will also attend five classes to include a math-themed escape room to a demonstrate the school’s Virtual Reality Lab. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Archbishop Ryan Involvement Fair where they can explore over 75 ways to get involved at the schools through clubs, activities, and athletics.

In addition to the programming highlights of the six schools listed above, the other schools participating in the 7th Grade Universal Visitation Day are: Archbishop John Carroll High School, Radnor (Delaware County); Archbishop Wood High School, Warminster (Bucks County); Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School in Lansdowne (Delaware County); Father Judge High School for Boys (Philadelphia); Lansdale Catholic High School in Lansdale (Montgomery County); Roman Catholic High School in (Philadelphia); Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls (Philadelphia); and Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls (Philadelphia).
