Sister Kathleen McMenamin SSJ (formerly Sister Kathleen Joseph), age 80, died April 13, 2024, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Joseph and Cathleen (Ford) McMenamin, she attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Grade School and John W. Hallahan High School.

In September 1963 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1971.

Sister Kathleen ministered in the Dioceses of Allentown, Baltimore and Philadelphia.

Sister of James (Denise), Joseph (Jeri), Sister Bernadette McMenamin SSJ and the late Michael McMenamin, Sister Kathleen is also survived by nieces, nephew and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 19. Services will be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister’s name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031.
