Sister Rose Marie Kean SSJ (formerly S. Eileen Immaculate), age 86, died April 14, 2024, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Helen (Toughill) Kean, she attended St. Dorothy Grade School and West Catholic High School.

Sister Rose Marie entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph in September 1956 and professed her Final Vows in August 1955.

Sister Rose Marie ministered in the Dioceses of Arlington, Camden, Newark and Philadelphia.

Sister of the late Eileen (Sister Thomas Dorothy), Kathleen (Sister Helen Therese), Patrick (Margaret), Thomas (Janet) and James Kean, she is survived by sister-in-law Mary Frances, many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 22. Services will be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister’s name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031.
