Jason M. Budd has been named an Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced Wednesday, Oct. 29. The appointment, approved by Archbishop Nelson J. His previous roles include President of the former Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote, as well as Deputy Secretary and Director of Student Services for the Office of Catholic Education. In those capacities, Budd oversaw political advocacy for Catholic schools, served as chief negotiator, and managed special projects assigned by the Archbishop’s Office.
Budd holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Pennsylvania Secondary Education Certification in Social Studies from Albright College.
He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from St. Joseph’s University and has completed executive education programs at the University of Notre Dame and Harvard University.
