Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez visited St. Athanasius Parish in West Oak Lane on Oct. 27, beginning with a tour of the St. Benedict Food Pantry, which serves over 400 families weekly. Heather Huot, Secretary and Executive Vice President of Catholic Charities of Philadelphia, accompanied the archbishop for the visit.
Following the tour, the archbishop celebrated Mass with the parish and school community, joined by pastor Father Joseph Okonski, with students participating as readers and altar servers. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
