Bishop Christopher Cooke blessed a life-size, Vatican-authorized replica of Michelangelo’s Pietà during its unveiling at St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland on Oct. 17. The 670 pound Carrara marble casting, one of only 100 in the world, is now on display in the church’s Padre Pio Shrine Chapel, offering visitors a rare opportunity to experience the iconic sculpture up close.
