See scenes from Oct. 25, when Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez led youth ministers in Lectio Divina during the Empowering Gen Now conference at Cardinal O’Hara High School in Delaware County. The two-day gathering, hosted by the USCCB and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, brought together more than 60 youth and young-adult leaders to explore the Church’s evolving approach to evangelization. Centered on the national pastoral framework Listen, Teach, Send, the event featured prayer, workshops, and pastoral reflection.

Additional sessions were led by Auxiliary Bishop Keith Chylinski; Fr. Stephen DeLacy, Vicar for Faith Formation with Youth and Young Adults; Christopher Wesley, Founder of Marathon Youth Ministry and author; Dr. Carmina Chapp, Dean of the School of Theological Studies and Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary; and Christina Lamas, Executive Director of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry.
