A total of 310 graduating senior student-athletes from Archdiocese of Philadelphia high schools will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level during the 2026–27 academic year, AOP athletics announced.

The commitments span more than a dozen Catholic League schools and a broad range of sports, with football, baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and track and field accounting for the majority of placements. Athletes will compete across NCAA Division I, II and III programs, as well as junior college levels, at schools including Villanova, Temple, Navy, Duke, and Syracuse.

Archbishop Carroll recorded the highest number of college-bound athletes among AOP schools, with other large contingents from Roman Catholic, Archbishop Ryan, and Cardinal O’Hara.

Football led all sports in total commitments, followed by baseball and basketball. The list also reflects growing participation in sports such as women’s flag football, along with continued representation in rowing, bowling, wrestling, and cheerleading.

Many of the student-athletes will remain in the Philadelphia region, while others will compete at programs across the country.

The full list of signees has been released by AOP athletics.
