The 2026 Red Mass of the Holy Spirit will be celebrated at 5:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 21 S. 13th St., Philadelphia.
The annual Mass calls upon the guidance of the Holy Spirit for the legal community of Metropolitan Philadelphia as the new judicial year begins.
Retired Auxiliary Bishop Michael Fitzgerald, a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, will preside, and Father Sean Bransfield, chancellor of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and a canon lawyer, will deliver the homily.
The Mass provides an opportunity for prayer, reflection, fellowship and a renewed commitment to justice.
Members of the legal community and the faithful are invited to attend.
