The National Centre for Padre Pio will host 10 days of prayer, family activities and Italian traditions Sept. 14-23 in observance of the Feast of St. Pio of Pietrelcina.

The celebration will begin with a nine-day novena of Masses Sept. 14, with daily intentions including children with special needs and those suffering from addiction. Weekday Masses will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., followed by the novena and Rosary.

The weekend of Sept. 19-20 will feature an outdoor Italian procession Saturday, along with family activities including games, face painting and traditional Italian food.

The observance will conclude Wednesday, Sept. 23, with Masses at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The celebration is part of the Centre’s Year of Saint Pio, leading up to the 25th anniversary of his canonization in June 2027.
