Educators from across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia gathered Aug. 25-27 at Bishop Shanahan High School in Chester County and Archbishop Wood High School in Bucks County for the fourth annual Archbishop’s Days for Educators.
The three-day gathering brought together educators and administrators from the archdiocese’s 15 secondary schools, 102 parish and regional elementary schools, and three Schools of Special Education. Centered on the theme, “Witness: Reclaiming in Christ Our Hope, Our Light, and Our Joy!,” the event offered educators an opportunity for prayer, reflection, formation and fellowship as they considered their shared mission as Catholic educators and missionary disciples of Christ.
The gathering featured keynote speaker Steve Angrisano, while recording artist Dana Catherine provided worship music throughout the event. The days were organized with leadership from the archdiocesan Office of Catholic Education and the Office for Catechetical Formation. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
