Young adults gathered Aug. 23 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa for “Theology on Fire,” an outdoor faith series hosted by Czestochowa Young Adults (CYA).
The evening featured a talk by Father Timothy Tarnacki, OSPPE, CYA chaplain and director of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Ministry with Young Adults, titled “Scarred Yet Beautiful: What the Icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa Reveals About Mary, Suffering, and Christ.” The event also served as a farewell to Father Tarnacki ahead of a new assignment with the Pauline Fathers outside the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
