Archbishop Chaput will celebrate a Mass Oct. 27 at the Medical Mission Sisters' headquarters in Fox Chase. The order was invited to minister in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia by Cardinal Dennis Dougherty in 1939.

Philadelphia priest named monsignor by Pope Francis

Father Gregory J. Fairbanks, ordained a priest for the Philadelphia Archdiocese in 1990, was named a Chaplain of His Holiness by Pope Francis. Msgr. Fairbanks works at the Vatican as an official of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
