Mercy Career and Technical High School held its annual Mercy Week Sept. 18-22. The Catholic high school in Philadelphia hosts a series of school spirit activities during the week and students volunteer their time to give back to the local community.

This year students created care packages for local soup kitchens, sent inspirational cards to the Women of Hope housing facility for women, wrote letters to the Sisters of Mercy at McAuley Convent and the Convent of Mercy, and planted flowers outside of the school in the city’s Hunting Park neighborhood.
