Sister Marie St. Michael Moser, I.H.M.

Sister Marie St. Michael Moser, I.H.M., 91, died Jan. 12 in Camilla Hall, Immaculata in the 68th year of her religious life.

Born in Philadelphia, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1949 from St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Cornwells Heights, and professed her vows in 1952.

Sister Marie taught in elementary and secondary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and in the Dioceses of Allentown, Harrisburg and Arlington. Her last assignment was to the Apostolate of Prayer in Camilla Hall.

The funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 17 at Camilla Hall. The principal celebrant and homilist was Father William E. Dean.

In addition to her I.H.M. congregation, Sister Marie is survived by her brothers, Norbert (Margaret) and Paul (Anastasia-Nancy) Moser.

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mabel Gehringer Moser and her brothers, Vincent (Elizabeth) and Edward Moser.
