DREXEL HILL – Holy Child Academy will host the second and third sessions of its three-part adult religious education series in October and February 2011. Father Stephen D. Thorne, director of the archdiocesan Office for Black Catholics, will lead “The Liturgy of the Word” Oct. 20 and “The Liturgy of the Eucharist” Feb. 28, 2011, both at 3:30 pm in the school’s multi-purpose room.

“Participating in these lectures allows the community to reinforce the principles and history of the Church with the school and its faculty members,” said Father Thorne.
