Brendan Dearing and Catherine Campbell were recently selected as the seventh and eighth grade representatives from Sacred Heart School in Oxford in the Bishop Shanahan High School Junior Honor Society.
They were chosen after meeting the criteria established by the national organization, taking into account not only their academic standing, but the five traits of scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship.
The Monsignor Schuyler Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted its newest members at a formal ceremony at Bishop Shanahan High School on Oct. 17.
