St. Charles Borromeo Seminary hosted a sold-out concert performance April 19 by the Three Irish Tenors. The fundraising event was
created to support the ongoing mission of the seminary in forming priests for the future.
Archbishop Charles J. Chaput and Bishop Timothy Senior, rector of the seminary, were joined by more than 450 guests at the event that raised approximately $250,000 for the seminary.
The funds will help sustain the program of priestly formation and be applied to the seminary’s expenses including educational technology advancements, funding for academic programs, seminarian health insurance and building maintenance.
This year more than 130 young men are enrolled at the seminary as they discern God’s call and transform into compassionate priests and inspiring leaders of tomorrow’s Church.
