Our Mother of Consolation School held its annual Prayer Convocation on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Over 200 students, families and staff gathered in the parish church on the eve of the first day of school. The annual gathering was created by Our Mother of Consolation’s Spirituality Committee.
Father Robert L. Bazzoli, O.S.F.S., pastor of Our Mother of Consolation Parish, led the school community in prayer.
Following the convocation, ice cream was served in the front school yard, which is currently under renovation for the school’s youngest students. It will include a prayer garden, large playground and stepping stones made from reclaimed wood. Students were able to reconnect with fellow classmates and share stories from their summer activities.
