The Association of Church Musicians in Philadelphia is hosting a summer retreat for members and non-members on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Cranaleith Retreat Center, 13475 Proctor Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

The retreat director will be Father Joseph McCaffrey, school minister at Little Flower High School. His theme will be “Mixing the Old with the New: How do the Prophets Rekindle the Relevance of the Old Testament within a New Testament Culture?”

The retreat includes evening prayer, inspirational conferences, opportunity for individual confession, quiet reflection in the beautiful environment at Cranaleith, and dinner. The registration deadline is Monday, Aug. 24.
