The Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia invites Catholics from across the Philadelphia Archdiocese to pray the rosary on the Feast of the Holy Rosary on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.

The Year of Mercy event recognizes the need for the prayerful intercession of our Blessed Mother, the Mother of the Church and Patroness of the United States.

A brief Liturgy of the Word will be followed by recitation of the rosary.
