The region’s largest Polish American Festival and Country Fair expects to draw more than 25,000 visitors for this year’s event over two weekends, Sept. 4-6 and Sept. 10-11.
The 51st annual celebration of family, fun and Polish heritage at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, located at 654 Ferry Road in Doylestown, benefits the shrine’s operations.
Guests will join in the celebration of traditional Polish culture with live entertainment, arts and crafts, historical reenactments, ethnic Polish food and amusement rides.
Special attractions are polka bands, Polish folk dance groups, the folk-rock band Goralsi from Poland, the Polish American String Band, daily shows of Polish traditions and a crafters’ village.
The admission price of $12 includes most rides, all musical performances and a “Little Circus” show. Parking is free.
