Faithful Catholics gathered to worship God at a Mass Saturday evening, Oct. 7 and pray for Mary’s intercession during the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s rosary devotion that followed at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul. The mass shooting Oct. 1 in Las Vegas in which a lone gunman killed 59 people and injured more than 500 has become the deadliest such massacre in modern U.S. history.
