Religious sisters, brothers and priests celebrating significant anniversaries of their profession into consecrated life celebrated in prayer and community at the Jubilarian Mass Sept. 9 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. PEter and Paul. Auxiliary Bishop Michael Fitzgerald was the main celebrant, and concelebrants included religious order priests, Father John Bednarik, O.F.M., Cap., Father Thomas Pesci, S.J. (both 50-year jubilarians) and Father Brendan Lally, S.J., representing the Jesuit provincial.
Of the 64 jubilarians present, the oldest was Sister M. Agnes Loretta Ford, a Religious Sister of Mercy for 80 years. In addition, nine jubilarians celebrated 70 years, three celebrated 65 years, 19 celebrated 60 years, 25 celebrated 50 years and five celebrated 25 years. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
