Nineteen students representing 18 Catholic high schools in the Philadelphia Archdiocese received the Courage Award from Catholic Athletes for Christ on May 8 at Cardinal O’Hara High School. It was the second annual awards event for CAC, a Catholic sports ministry serving athletes and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through athletics.
The Courage Award is given to outstanding students who are leaders in their communities, have excelled in academics and athletics, and also demonstrate a commitment to service and the Catholic faith. This year’s recipients and their high school include:
