St. Augustine Church in Philadelphia’s Old City section will offer Mass on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 12 p.m. for those suffering from addiction. Augustinian Father Bill Donnelly will be the celebrant.
Addiction has touched far too many families and taken far too many loved ones. All are invited to gather for the Mass to draw strength from one another in the power of our faith.
St. Augustine is located at 243 North Lawrence Street in Philadelphia. For more information, contact the parish at 215-627-1838.
Prayer:
“St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.” — Pope Leo XIII
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
