Archbishop Jose H. Gomez of Los Angeles, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, will lead a special liturgy to renew the consecration of the United States to the care of Mary, in response to the circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic.
The liturgy will be livestreamed on the website of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and on the USCCB Facebook page.
The bishops of Canada also will hold separate prayers to consecrate that country to Mary.
