The parish in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia welcomed Archbishop Nelson Pérez for Mass on Sunday, Dec. 13, the Third Sunday of Advent. Celebrating with him were the parish’s pastor, Mercedarian Father Michael Rock, and Mercedarian Father Scottston Brentwood, superior of the local community of Mercedarian Fathers (the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy) at the parish.
