Man Up Philly 2021 is, like so many other events in the past year, going virtual.
The 13th annual Men’s Spirituality Conference in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will be held Saturday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon via a webcast for which tickets are available at a reduced cost of $10.
Fathers, sons, brothers and friends are invited to the day for men in the Philadelphia region to focus on their Catholic faith and reliance on Jesus.
Speakers for the event include Father Mike Schmitz, a widely popular podcaster and presenter on YouTube; Bishop Joseph Coffey, a Philadelphia-area native and auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of the Military Services; retired Marine Colonel Tom Manion, who founded the Travis Manion Foundation in memory of his son Travis who died in battle in 2007; and Deacon Steve Javie, a former NBA referee and now a permanent deacon of the Philadelphia Archdiocese.
Archbishop Nelson J. Perez will offer his remarks to attendees at approximately 9:20 a.m.
Father Steve DeLacy, vocations director for the archdiocese, will also give a talk.
Organizers promise an inspiring day of faith and fellowship among men and rediscover the power of faith.
