The 2021 Dare to Understand Award of Interfaith Philadelphia will be presented in a virtual event Wednesday, May 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Ala Stanford for their leadership at the national and local levels, respectively, during the coronavirus pandemic.
Dr. Fauci is director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases based in Maryland and Dr. Stanford is founder of the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium in Philadelphia.
Interfaith Philadelphia represents the religious community of the Philadelphia region. It builds bridges between people and communities to create a more just and equitable society.
