The special education students and their faculty and staff of St. Katherine Day School in Wynnewood gave a warm welcome to Archbishop Nelson Perez when he visited the school May 11. One of three schools of special education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, St. Katherine’s teaches students from age 4 to 21 with multiple impairments and offers a life skills program, which includes functional academics. In addition to the Wynnewood campus, St. Katherine’s has a program at Archbishop Carroll High School, Radnor. Read more about the archbishop’s visit to the school here. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
