After last year’s subdued and separated Christmas celebrations, Archbishop Nelson J. Perez tells in a new video how important are the family traditions of the holiday. For him growing up, the festive dinner with family was held on Christmas Eve before midnight Mass, “the Mass of the Rooster.” This Christmas, nothing compares with being together at Mass where Christians celebrate the birth of the vulnerable baby Jesus in Bethlehem 2,000 years ago, and in our hearts today.
