Peter “Donald” Feledick, a resident of Philadelphia, died Jan. 8 at the age of 86.
He was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School and La Salle University, and went on to earn a master’s degree in history from Marquette University.
Mr. Feledick’s career path led him to teaching and he held positions at La Salle College High School, Holy Family University and La Salle University’s night school program.
He was also a longtime employee with The Catholic Standard and Times newspaper, working in circulation fulfillment. He also worked as a purchaser for the Institutional Procurement Service of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Mr. Feledick was a lector and longtime parishioner at St. Ambrose and St. William parishes, both in Northeast Philadelphia.
He is survived by his brother Thomas J. Feledick Sr. (the late Margaret), his nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter J. and Helen (Ronick) Feledick and his sister Katherine Noonan.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 18 at St. William Church in Philadelphia, followed by private interment.
