The Philadelphia Catholic Committee on Scouting hosted its annual Scout Mass April 23 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia. As principal celebrant of the Mass, Archbishop Nelson Perez awarded religious emblems to more than 200 Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts for practicing and discovering their faith in a deeper way. As he presented the awards he thanked the scouts for their witness and being active representatives of the faith.
