Annual Archdiocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass Set for May 4

Holy Martyrs Parish in Oreland will mark the feast of St. Philomena with a Mass at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 11, preceded by a rosary at 8 a.m. and followed by novena prayers and veneration of a relic of the beloved intercessor.

Participants will also have the opportunity to venerate a permanent collection of more than 150 relics of saints and individuals on the path to canonization.

The parish is the home of the National Center of the Universal Archconfraternity for St. Philomena.

The rosary will be prayed at 8 a.m.

Following the Mass and novena, there will be a reception in the Father Szal Conference Room.

The blessed oil, the chaplet, and the cord of St. Philomena as well as other sacramentals will be available.

These items can be viewed at the saint’s shrine in the church. Related devotional items can be purchased through the religious goods page of the shrine’s website at www.philomenafamilyusa.com
