AbbeyFest, the eighth annual music festival celebrating faith and family, returns to Daylesford Abbey in Paoli on Saturday, Sept. 17.
Top contemporary Christian artists on the bill this year include nine-time Grammy Award nominee Matt Maher; Micah Tyler performing his hit song “Walking Free;” the Vigil Project featuring Athenas; Connor Flanagan; Jordan St. Cyr; the God’s Men under the direction of Tonya Dorsey; and the Philadelphia Catholic Gospel Mass Choir.
In addition to the Catholic and Christian music, food trucks, merchandise tents, inspirational speakers and kid-friendly activities will be offered all day beginning when doors open at noon.
Mass at 4 p.m. will be celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Perez, preceded by the opportunity for confessions and followed by more musical artists.
Concluding the musical lineup is Matt Maher, who will provide accompaniment to evening eucharistic adoration ending at 10 p.m.
Abbey Fest will engage children, teens, youth groups and families in an encounter with the fullness of faith and truth of Jesus Christ, helping to deepen relationships with him to live their faith with passion and purpose.
Tickets and sponsorships, plus a schedule for the day and more information, are available at www.theabbeyfest.com.
