Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Earlier today, Pope Francis shared that Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI is very ill and asked everyone to join in prayer for the intention of his health.

I echo that request and ask all people of goodwill to join me in prayerful solidarity with our Holy Father for the Pope Emeritus. May Mary, Our Mother, watch over and comfort him and may the Lord give him strength.
