Sister Anne Winkelmann SSJ, formerly Sister Michael Dorothy, age 82, died January 1, 2024, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Francis and Marguerite Winkelmann, she attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Grade School and Holy Family Academy in Bayonne, NJ.

In September 1959 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1967.

Sister Anne ministered in the Dioceses of Camden, Newark and Philadelphia.

She is survived by many loving cousins, soul friends and their extended families. She is also survived by members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.

A funeral Mass will be held on January 5, 2024, at 10:30am. Services will be live streamed from Saint Joseph Villa website. www.stjosephvilla.org
