Sister Kathleen P. Coll SSJ
Sister Kathleen P. Coll SSJ, (formerly S. Regina Carmelita), age 89, died on February 18, 2024, at Chestnut Hill Hospital.
The daughter of the late Dennis and Margaret (nee Rogers) Coll, she attended St. Vincent dePaul grade school and Holy Family Academy in Bayonne, NJ.
In September 1953 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1961.
Sister Kay ministered in the Dioceses of Baltimore, Camden, Metuchen, Newark and Philadelphia and in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
The sister of the late Mary Farina, Eugene Coll, Frances Stanley, Theresa Fasciano, Ann Marinke, Joan Callander, Margaret Elmigar, and Charles Coll, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, as well as by members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 23, at 10:30 AM at Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown. Services will be livestreamed at www.stjosephvilla.org.
