The Philadelphia Catholic League announced Feb. 5 that Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS) will be the presenting partner for the 2024 Philadelphia Catholic League girls’ and boys’ basketball championships.
The partnership is highlighted by a comprehensive sponsorship of the PCL boys’ basketball semifinals and girls’ and boys’ Championship games at The Palestra.
“I am incredibly proud to announce that BLOCS is the presenting partner of the 2024 Philadelphia Catholic League Basketball Championships,” said Dave Rowan, Chief Executive Officer, BLOCS.
“Our commitment to providing scholarships to students in the Philadelphia region echoes the spirit of the game – it’s about precision, dedication, and making sure every student has a positive life path forward,” he added.
Since 1980, BLOCS has been committed to creating educational opportunities for all through the distribution of scholarships providing children with access to a high-quality, faith-based education.
The semifinals of the 2024 PCL Boys’ Basketball Championship will be held at The Palestra on Wed., Feb. 21, while the 2024 girls’ and boys’ Championship doubleheader will take place on Mon., Feb. 26.

Feb. 21 – Semifinals (at The Palestra) – 6:15 p.m. / 7:45 p.m.
Feb. 26 – Finals (at The Palestra) – 8:00 p.m.

Feb. 20 – Semifinals (at Saint Joseph’s-University City) – 6:00 p.m. / 7:30 p.m.
