Sister Suzanne M. Bellenoit, SSJ
Sister Suzanne M. Bellenoit SSJ, (formerly S. Marie Corde), age 85, died October 21, 2024, at Saint Joseph Villa.
The daughter of the late Gerard and Stephanie (nee Bienia) Bellenoit, she attended St. Ann Grade School in Phoenixville, Pa and John W. Hallahan High School.
In September 1957 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1965.
Sister Suzanne ministered in the dioceses of Camden, Newark, Philadelphia, Trenton and Washington, D.C.
She is preceded in death by her brother Gerard Bellenoit, Jr. She is survived by dear friends and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.
Visitation by relatives and friends will begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, November 7th at Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live-streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.
