Sr. Mary Adele White, SNDdeN, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur, born in Philadelphia, PA, died peacefully on Dec. 25, 2024 at the age of 96 years, in the 78th year of her religious life. Her passing is mourned by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, and numerous loving and beloved nieces and nephews. Her parents and siblings preceded her in death. Sister’s ministry as educator and minister to the elderly took her to Washington, DC; Brooklyn, NY; Florence, SC; Philadelphia, PA; and Stevenson and Emmitsburg, MD. After her retirement Sister continued in her service to the community and ministry of prayer.

The visitation will take place on Thursday, January 9 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Notre Dame Health Center, 699 E. Columbia Ave, Cincinnati, OH (513-821-7448), followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. and interment.
