The Vincentians of the Eastern Province have released a short film to observe the 400th anniversary of their order, formally known as the Congregation of the Mission.
This documentary showcases how today’s Vincentian priests and brothers continue to live out St. Vincent de Paul’s model of service to others. He founded the order in 1625 in Paris, France.
The Eastern Province comprises the East Coast of the United States and Panama. In those areas, nearly 100 Vincentians help marginalized and impoverished people in more than a dozen communities.
The film explains the Vincentians’ ministry and offers viewers a deeper understanding of how they can participate in the Vincentian spirit.
