Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez celebrated Mass Feb. 8 with the faithful of St. Matthew Parish in Conshohocken alongside the pastor, Father Joseph Devlin, as the parish begins its 175th anniversary year. The Archbishop prayed that this milestone would inspire reflection, gratitude, and generosity toward the next generation of parishioners. “Yesterday I was blessed to celebrate the Eucharist with the people of St. Matthew Parish in Conshohocken, along with their pastor, Fr. Joseph Devlin, as they begin a yearlong celebration of their 175th Anniversary.

We pray that this time of reflection and gratitude for their past and present will be a time of grace and excitement as they as they pray about the gift they want to give to the next generation of St. Matthew.
