The film “Cabrini” honoring the life and legacy of Saint Frances Cabrini, will be shown throughout June and July at various theaters throughout the region.
Based on the true story of Mother Cabrini, the film follows her path as a 19th century immigrant to the United States from Italy. As a religious sister and founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, she brought the compassionate love of Christ while also facing injustice as she cared for the poor immigrants she met in New York City and in other cities.
“Cabrini” stars Cristiana Dell’Anna, David Morse, and John Lithgow. It is produced by Angel Studios, with executive producer J. Eustace Wolfington.
