The IHM Nun Run, which organizers hope will raise money for a new wheelchair-accessible van for retired sisters at Camilla Hall in Malvern, is set for Saturday, June 6 at 8:30 a.m.
Registration deadline for the charitable 5K run/3K walk, to be held rain or shine, ends June 4. For details and to register, visit https://www.ihmnunrun.org/.
Organizers hope to raise $70,000 to purchase a van for the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary living at Camilla Hall, the Convent Home and Healthcare Center of the IHM Sisters.
Donors funded the purchase of a van two years ago, but another vehicle is needed to continue transporting sisters to appointments, community events, and religious activities.
Race fees are $35 for individuals, $15 for children, $100 for a family of 4, and $125 for a family of 5 or more. There will be no race-day registration.
Parking will be available at Immaculata University, a short walk to Camilla Hall.
The site of the event is Villa Maria House of Studies, 1 Our Lady Circle, Malvern, PA 19355.
