Sister Catherine V. Corrigan SSJ, (formerly S. Charles Veronica,) age 95, died on June 25, 2026, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Thomas J. and Catherine (nee McLaughlin) Corrigan, she attended St. Columba Grade School and John W. Hallahan High School.

In September 1954 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1962.

Sister Catherine ministered in the dioceses of Camden and Philadelphia.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary (S. Borromeo SSJ) and brothers, Thomas and Charles Corrigan. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends, and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia.

Friends are invited to Saint Joseph Villa beginning at 9:30 AM on Monday June 29, 2026. A Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.
